How was your Christmas? I hope you had a wonderful time with your family and that it wasn’t too hectic.
I know what it’s like. You work so hard in the lead up making sure that everything is ready.
Elf antics for the kids.
All the presents bought and wrapped.
Christmas menu planned, prepped, cooked and served.
Family members catered for.
Everyone had a ball, and now you’re exhausted.
Instead of making resolutions this year, how about making the decision to make 2019 the year you take care of YOU.
You put yourself first – not in a selfish way, but so that you have the energy to keep doing everything for everyone that you already do, without running yourself into the ground.
It could be something like a weekly massage, dinner at a restaurant with your significant other once a month without the kids, or even something as simple as taking 2 quiet minutes to moisturise your face before bed of an evening.
Perhaps you could incorporate some deep breathing exercises into your day to help when stress rears its ugly head.
Or you could try meditating each morning. Even if you start with just 3 minutes.

Could you take 10 minutes to sit in the sunshine and enjoy a cup of your favourite herbal tea?
